“I didn’t take money from anyone” — Actor Aremu Afolayan reacts to backlash after insinuating that there's no insecurity in the Country

Nollywood actor Aremu Afolayan has responded to criticism following his recent engagement in a gathering supporting President Tinubu. Aremu and a few other Nollywood actors, among others were filmed singing on your mandate we shall stand in support on the Tinubu-led administration. In a statement, he apologised to Nigerians, saying the backlash he received has been overwhelming. To all Nigerians, please forgive me. The criticism has been overwhelming, he said. The actor also addressed allegations, stating clearly that he did not receive money from anyone.
