Tension seem to be brewing in the The ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) over the alleged ban of consensus endorsement of their candidates in the states for the 2015 election. This directive by the national leaders of the party didn't go down well with Governors who are currently kicking against it.

The aggrieved governors Friday said they were disappointed with the party?s National Working Committee (NWC) decision to stop them from further endorsement of candidates that would succeed them after their tenures elapses.
