The Obama administration is planning to increase drone flights 50 percent over the next four years, a senior defense official says. The increase in drone flights will give the military more intelligence access as well as increase its firepower, which is needed to take on hot spots around the world, a senior defense official told The Wallstreet.The Pentagon plans to sharply expand the number of US drone flights over the next four years, giving military commanders access to more intelligence and greater firepower to keep up with a sprouting number of global hot spots.
