Chelsea are prepared to part ways with midfielder Conor Gallagher if they receive a package of £45 million in January.

Gallagher has been a mainstay in the starting XI for the Blues this term and he has been their captain on several occasions.

The Englishman has stood out with his performances and many Chelsea fans have picked him as the player of the season so far.

Despite this, his future with the Blues is uncertain, considering his current deal concludes at the end of the 2024/25 season.

He has yet to agree to terms over a renewal and reports claim that the Blues could sell him next month to recoup transfer funds.

The west London giants are lining up a move for a marquee striker this winter and Gallagher could be sacrificed for the same.

Aside from Gallagher, Trevoh Chalobah and Ian Maatsen are also anticipated to head for the exit door in early January.

Gallagher could end up at Tottenham Hotspur or West Ham United. The former could be favourites to land his signature.
