Technical Assistant to the Executive Director at Lagos Commodities and Futures Exchange (LCFE)

Lagos Commodities and Futures Exchange is a commodities Exchange that trades on Agricultural Commodities, Currencies, Oil and Gas and Solid Mineral Commodities. We are looking to partner with various stakeholders in the Nigerian Commodities Ecosystem ranging from farmers, aggregators, cooperative societies, Commodities associations, FMCGS, Banks, Insurance Companies, Certification Agents, Ship, tank farms, Silos, warehouse Owners and many more.Key Responsibilities


Financial & Market Intelligence: Build financial models, analyze market liquidity, and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets to track performance. You will also perform preliminary reviews of budgets and departmental KPIs to ensure 100% accuracy. 
Strategic Liaison: Act as the primary link between the ED and department heads to keep strategic projects on schedule and within budget. 
Executive Communication: Draft high-stakes board papers, technical memos, and professional correspondence. 
Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in administrative or financial processes and propose tech-driven solutions. 
Administrative Ownership: Strategically manage the ED’s calendar, travel arrangements, and documentation, ensuring they are prepared for all high-level meetings. 


Requirements & Qualifications


A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration. 
Proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization) is non-negotiable. 
A grasp of financial principles, balance sheets and profit/loss statements. 
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarize complex technical information concisely. 
A keen eye for detail, the ability to anticipate needs, and high-level problem-solving skills with minimal supervision.
