Kindle users have an old complaint that resurfaces every time a popular book gets a screen adaptation. One day, you open your library expecting a familiar cover and instead, find yourself staring at a glossy movie version. I have a cinephile brother who assigns me reading material the second a book’s rights are bought, so over time, my library has started to look like a movie theater hallway.
