The GoPro Hero 12 camera is one of my all time favorite tech products, and it's on sale for $279.99 in Best Buy's July sales day event. Get it at this price quick, in the waning hours of Prime Day. This is a great deal, and not just for the $90 off, but because the GoPro Hero 12 is a truly amazing piece of technology. It's not the most current GoPro, but it was literally life-changing for me: I like using it so much that I find myself going places and doing things that I wouldn't have before, just to take some pictures or video. I probably wouldn't bother using it so much if it was a hassle, but the GoPro Hero 12 is very easy to use. Below is the first video I shot with it, without reading any instructions of having any idea what I was doing:

   

While this isn't the latest in the GoPro Hero line—that would be the also excellent Hero 13 —it's still packed with so many features and uses I wouldn't have space to list them all. It's waterproof and practically indestructible, but still manages to create beautiful images and shoot 5.3K video—that's 91% more resolution than 4K. Whether you want to shoot extreme sports or pretty flowers, the Go Pro Hero 12 does it all. And it's so much smaller and more delightful to use than a phone.
