Setup is seamless with Samsung Galaxy devices, and while Samsung and Android users are generally happy with performance, some Amazon reviewers note that it doesn’t work as smoothly with Google phones or non-Samsung devices. It also features an NFC button that integrates with the SmartThings ecosystem and can trigger routines for added automation, making this an ideal device for Samsung users.

The tag itself lacks a key ring and requires a separate case or cover. It’s also worth noting that this device finds via Bluetooth or other Samsung devices rather than using real-time GPS-level tracking. As a result, it’s not ideal for use as a pet tracker if your dog or cat has a tendency to wander off. If they tend to stay nearby but you don’t have visibility, this tag may still be helpful when attached to a collar, which some Amazon reviewers have reported success with.
