Steven Gerrard is celebrating 11 years as captain of Liverpool ? with team-mate Jordan Henderson rating him the best skipper in the business, Sky Sports reports.

Gerrard was made captain by Gerard Houllier ahead of the UEFA Cup clash with Olimpija Ljubljana on October 15 in 2003.
