The Ekiti State Governor-Elect, Mr Ayo Fayose, has again raised alarm over an alleged N1 billion loan which the outgoing Governor of the state, Dr Kayode Fayemi, plans to secure from First City Monument Bank barely four days to the end of its tenure.

Fayose went ahead to claim in a letter with reference number OGE/EK/ADM/ 094 dated October 10, 2014, which was signed by the Chairman, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Transition Committee, Chief Dipo Anisulowo, and sent to the Managing Director of the bank in Lagos, that the new loan was being facilitated to pay the severance allowances of the political office holders.
