Chelsea set to offer Begovic, Remy in Lukaku deal

Chelsea are prepared to offer the likes of Asmir Begovic and Loic Remy as part of an agreement to sign Everton star Romelu Lukaku. The 23-year-old is desperate to join a top European club this summer.
Lukaku left the Blues to join the Toffees on loan in 2013, before the move was made permanent for £28m in the season which followed.

According to The Sun, Blues boss Antonio Conte is keen on securing the services of the Belgian with the future of Diego Costa hanging in the balance.

Costa has been tipped to leave West London in recent weeks, but Conte remains adamant that the Spaniard will not sold over the transfer window.

Meanwhile, the Blues are reluctant to pay more than £57m for Lukaku, and they will offer Begovic and Remy as makeweights to test the Toffees' resolve.

Ronald Koeman's side are currently on the search for a new centre-forward whilst an additional keeper remains on their priority list despite recruiting Maarten Stekelenburg last month.
