Federal University of Technology and Environmental Sciences, Iyin-Ekiti (FUTESIYIN) was established on February 20, 2025 as a specialized Institution for the training of Engineers, Environmental Experts and Scientists. The University has the vision to be a reputable citadel of Learning, a global player in knowledge production and dissemination, while its mission is to contribute to the progress of humanity by transformative learning through cutting edge teaching and research.Requirements


The candidate who must have been a Reader for at least three (3) years, must have a Ph.D. Degree in the area specified and evidence of highly scholarly productivity.
Minimum of fifteen (15) years Post Qualification Teaching Experience in University or related Tertiary Institution and adequate years of administrative experience.
Candidate must have adequate acceptable publications locally and internationally with distinctive academic quality, originality and contribution to knowledge.
The candidate must have a minimum of twenty percent (20%) of his/her publications in Scopus or Web of Science-indexed Journals.
The candidate must be willing to initiate and develop courses at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels and be able to supervise Postgraduate students in his/her areas of specialization.
Registration with Professional body where applicable is compulsory.
