Federal University Oye, Ekiti, located within Oye community, was one of the nine Federal Universities established by the Federal Government of Nigeria, pursuant to an executive order made by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR.  Federal University Oye-Ekiti, whose pioneer Vice Chancellor, is Professor Chinedu Ostadinma Nebo, OON, has two campuses at Oye-Ekiti and Ikole-Ekiti with 4 Faculties and 27 Departments. A Ph.D. Degree holder or its equivalent in the area of specialization with a minimum of nine (9) years in teaching experience at University level.
The candidate must have a minimum of five (5) points of PG students supervised.
Academic Librarians shall participate in postgraduate teaching and supervision in the Department of Library Science.
Considerable background of research with a minimum of admissible publications totaling not less than seventy-five (75) points.
Must score five (5) points in Academic Leadership / Administrative Responsibilities.
Must score three (3) points in Community Service.
Must be an up-to-date member of professional body/bodies.
Must score forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal.
Must be visible on Google scholar with citation not less than thirty (30).
Minimum number of publications not less than fifteen (15).
Must have 5 Papers index in Scopus.
Two (2) Favourable External Assessments.
