According to recent reports, the Federal Government has reopened First Consultant Hospital in Obalende, Lagos where Liberian Patrick Sawyer, the man who imported Ebola Virus to Nigeria, died.

In a letter sent to the Lagos state Ministry of Health, the Federal Government stated that after putting the hospital through three rounds of state-certified sanitization processes in line with the world standard, the hospital is now free to continue its professional health care services to patients.

Recall that the hospital was shut down over a month ago after Patrick Sawyer, the Liberian man died there of the deadly disease. Dr Adadevoh and nurse Ejelonu also got infected in the said hospital and also later died.
