A new terminal at the domestic wing of Nnamdi Azikwe Airport, Abuja will be ready in six months.
This disclosure was made by the minister of aviation, Mr. Osita Chidoka, during an inspection tour of facilities at the airport.

Chidoka promised to continue with projects initiated by his immediate predecessor, Stella Oduah, and hinted that he would focus more on security and safety at the airports.

?My predecessor had done very well in the terminal buildings; so all that we need is to focus and complete the works that have already started.

?But we will pull our resources away from the terminal remodelling and focus more on the security and safety of the airports. We are talking to airline operators and Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority to make sure that we do more on the safety of passengers and air space?, he hinted.

The minister pleaded with passengers to bear with disruptions to their comforts due to the work in progress.
