"Win or Lose, stay professional" â?? Singer Lojay weighs in on artists dragging award shows

Nigerian music star Lojay has dropped his two cents on the trending issue of artists bashing award shows after not taking home a win. Speaking on HipTVs Trending, Lojay said while its normal to feel some type of way after losing out, artists need to remember that professionalism should always come first. This comes shortly after the drama that followed the 17th Headies Awards, where a few stars didnt exactly take their Ls quietly. Shallipopi, who actually bagged an award, still went online to vent his displeasure,  going as far as swearing never to attend the ceremony again. But Lojay doesnt think thats the right move. Everybody can get emotional about stuff for particular reasons, and thats okay. I just feel like at the end of the day, youre meant to be a professional artist, so dont let your emotions take control.I dont think it makes sense to start trashing an award show just because you did not win.   The post "Win or Lose, stay professional"  Singer Lojay weighs in on artists dragging award shows appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
