Sadly, Nigeria has recorded a New case of the dreaded Haemorrhagic Fever.

A new Ebola case has sadly been reported in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.




A doctor who allegedly was secretly treating a diplomat, who met with Late Patrick Sawyer in Lagos before flying to Rivers State in a hotel, has died of the virus.

The doctor who is yet to be named died last Friday while his wife has also fallen ill. In all 70 people have been quarantined so far in Port Harcourt, while the hospital, Good Heart Hospital and the hotel has been shut down.

Interestingly, the diplomat the doctor has been secretly treating is still alive.

In the meantime, the state Ministry of health has called for a media briefing possibly with regard to the current development.

Reports from the Rivers Government House indicated that Governor Amaechi has cancelled his proposed tour of Obio-Akpor Local government area.
