The Special Assistant to President Tinubu on Social Media, Segun Dada, has knocked the Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) over its rebuttal to the recent comment by Pastor Poju Oyemade. Citing a peer-reviewed study by Osoba et al. (2021), published in the Pan African Medical Journal, the association stated that the actual cost of training a doctor in Nigeria ranges between $21,000 and $51,000. This figure includes tuition, living expenses, and other related costs.
