Today's Sallah day celebration has not hindered the rate of terror attacks in Nigeria, as multiple explosions just rocked dreaded Damaturu, the Yobe State capital at Phase I near Eid Praying ground.

This explosions is coming on a day when the new Chief of Army Staff, Major General Tukur Buratai declared that he will spend his Sallah celebration in Damaturu.

The incident which took place on Friday morning have put fear on the minds of Damaturu, the Yobe state capital, as many praying grounds were still deserted as security operatives and men of the anti bomb squard were busy trying to ensure that it condoned off the areas with a view to prevent further attacks.


As at press time there was no actual number of casualties, but sources said, unspecified number of lives were lost.

Naijacrux reported double blasts in a main market in Gombe yesterday which killed over 50 people.
