President Jonathan may show more of his aides the door before May 29. The sacking of Police boss Suleiman Abba, popularly believed to be the beginning of mass sackings and summary dismissals of top government officials seen to be working with the incoming leadership, has left many panicking. Government officials have been warned to desist from having any ?unholy alliances? with the incoming President-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari.

A senior government official said the sacking started long time ago with the sack of Martin-Luther Agwai after he spoke about change at Obasanjo?s birthday lecture. Agwai was head of the Subsidy Re-investment Programme, SURE-P, a department created by the government to deploy saved fuel subsidy cash for the provision of infrastructure and jobs.
