Chelsea have confirmed the arrival of midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester City on a five-year contract.

The 25-year-old was a key player under manager Enzo Maresca at the Foxes. He registered 12 goals and 15 assists last term.

Maresca personally requested his signing following his appointment at Chelsea and the hierarchy have granted the same.

Dewsbury-Hall has penned a long-term contract until June 2029. There is an option to extend his deal for another 12 months.

The Blues paid a fee of around ?30m for the Englishman, who becomes their fourth signing of the current summer window.

The London giants initially landed Tosin Adarabioyo on a free transfer before signing Omari Kellyman from Aston Villa.

The Blues announced the arrival of Marc Guiu from Barcelona yesterday and have today welcomed Dewsbury-Hall to the club.

Dewsbury-Hall said: "This is a club people grow up watching and hoping to one day play for, so it is a privilege to be here. I?m really excited to get going and can?t wait to show everybody what I can do."
