Man Utd now searching for new left-back

Manchester United have started their search for a young left-back, according to reputed journalist Fabrizio Romano.

The Red Devils have had plenty of injury concerns in the defensive department and they are currently without several players.

Lisandro Martinez is out for another month at least while left-backs Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia may not return before the season ends.

Malacia has not played a single minute this term due to a knee injury and Romano has revealed that the club are looking at another left-back.

No specific targets have been mentioned, but it looks likely that Malacia could be sold when the club complete a new signing for the role.

United returned to winning ways with a 2-0 win over Everton on Saturday. Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford scored with penalties.

The victory has come as a huge boost, considering Aston Villa dropped points against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League today.

United are now within eight points off the top four and will be hoping to close the gap over the remaining 10 games of the campaign.
