Manchester United are serious about the prospect of signing Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic this summer.


The Red Devils are widely expected to lose Paul Pogba when his contract expires at the end of the campaign.

Milinkovic-Savic has been identified as a like-for-like replacement, and they are now said to be lining up an offer.

According to La Repubblica, the Red Devils are serious over an approach for Milinkovic-Savic ahead of the summer.

The club are prepared to pay around €60m for his services, but Lazio are likely to hold out for €80m to sanction his exit.

The Serie A outfit are braced for the midfielder's departure this summer, given he has no plans of penning a renewal.

With two years left on his contract, Lazio feel it is the right time to part ways, but prefer to sell him for the right price.

They are expected to assess all transfer offers on the table. Paris Saint-Germain are also plotting a summer approach.
