A man identified as Sani Garba has been arrested in Niger State for breaking into a 60-year-old woman’s apartment and raping her.

The suspect, 32, committed the offence in Kuspa area of Suleja Local Government Area of the state.

Niger State police command arrested him after the 60-year-old reported the assault at the station.

Police spokesman, Abiodun Wasiu said the suspect would soon be arraigned in court.

“Also one John Adamu, 23, was also arrested for raping a seven-year-old girl in Ungwan Nasarawa area of Kontagora Local Government Area of the state.
