THE Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has condemned the violence that broke out yesterday during the last leg of Governor Abiola Ajimobi?s tour of the local government areas, blaming the violence on members of opposition parties, who it claimed infiltrated its ranks. Speaking yesterday, the party?s Publicity Secretary, Wale Shadare, said the opposition parties, apparently overwhelmed by the success of the governor?s meet-the-people tour and distribution of letters of appointment to teachers, embarked on the violence to embarrass the governor and take the shine off the ?successful tour?.
