Manchester United is in the midst of plotting a £70 million bid for AS Monaco star Bernardo Silva in the summer.


United manager Jose Mourinho is believed to be a huge admirer of the Portuguese attacker and would love to have him as one of his charges at Old Trafford. Further, although a move for the 22 year old attacker might be a bit of a risk, given the kind of money involved, Mourinho does believe that it’ll be a risk worth taking.

Moreover, money is not an issue for United these days, after recently over taking Real Madrid as the richest football club in the world in terms of revenue income for the year 2015-16. Having already all but agreed a deal for Antoine Griezmann, for the summer transfer window; Bernardo Silva looks all set to become the Red Devils’ second marquee signing for next season.
