FCT Police arrest suspected k!dnappers spotted brandishing AK-47s in viral video

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has arrested three suspected kidnappers who appeared in a viral video openly brandishing AK-47 rifles, ammunition, and walkie-talkies while dressed in military camouflage. Confirming the development to journalists, the FCT Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmed Sanusi, stated that he ordered an immediate forensic analysis into the origin of the footage and directed a manhunt for the suspects as soon as the video surfaced. According to CP Sanusi, digital forensic tracking and actionable intelligence led operatives to the suspects' hideout. A coordinated dawn raid was executed at Runji Village in Zuba on May 25 at approximately 3:22 AM. The operation was carried out by the FCT Police VCRU Sector 5 alongside personnel from the Zuba Division, led by the Divisional Police Officer, CSP Ogu Caleb Ikechukwu. The police chief identified the arrested suspects as Umar Babangida (25), Adamu Yeti (22), and Yahaya Idris (24). All three are residents of Rijana in Kaduna State. Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects obtained their AK-47 rifles from their gang leader, identified simply as Esco, who hails from Rijana and remains at large. Furthermore, a search of the suspects' mobile phones uncovered additional videos and photographs of them posing in military camouflage with high-caliber firearms and communication equipment. The suspects are currently in custody and undergoing further interrogation. Meanwhile, the police have launched a tracking operation to apprehend Esco and other fleeing members of the syndicate, as well as to recover the operational firearms.  Watch the viral videos of the criminals below     View this post on Instagram           A post shared by Lindaikejiblog (@lindaikejiblogofficial) The post FCT Police arrest suspected k!dnappers spotted brandishing AK-47s in viral video appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
