Former Vice-President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has cautioned other contestants for the presidential ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) against allowing the party's primaries to degenerate to an extent capable of destroying the opposition party.

Atiku made this known while responding to the apparent rigidity exhibited by loyalists of the former Head of State, General Muhammed Buhari (rtd). He said the contest should be issues-based rather than on primordial sentiments.
