Nine political parties in Nigeria have agreed to form an electoral alliance to contest, support and further the interest of their common candidates for the 2015 presidential, gubernatorial and legislative elections and all other elections.

The new alliance ? Credible Alternative Alliance (CAA) ? floated last week explains that it plans to constitute a united front in a progressive and patriotic manner, in order to wrestle powers from the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
