President Tinubu decorates Disu as acting IGP (photos)

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu today, February 25, decorated Tunji Disu with the rank of Acting Inspector-General of Police at the State House, Abuja. The decoration ceremony, which followed his swearing-in, was held at about 3pm. during an expanded session attended by top government and security officials. With his elevation, the 59-year-old Lagos-born officer becomes Nigerias 23rd Inspector-General of Police.   His appointment, approved by President Tinubu on Tuesday, followed the resignation of his predecessor, Mr. Kayode Egbetokun, whose exit was confirmed on the same day.The post President Tinubu decorates Disu as acting IGP (photos) appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
