Content Creator Eric Gugua responds after old tweet shared from his account promoting r@pe resurfaced

Eric Gugua, a content creator, has reacted after an old tweet shared from his X account surfaced. The old tweet from 2014, which started going viral on Thursday,  February 19, 2026, reads: "Why are girls so scared of r@pe? Y'all should feel pride that a guy risked spending his life in jail & getting r@ped there just to screw you."    As the tweet gained traction, Eric took to X to respond. He stated that he bought the Twitter account from a blogger in 2021. He wrote: "There are people who are currently snooping on my timeline trying to find posts to tag me a rapist (this is now the cost of disagreement). "Tbh I genuinely feel bad for you because there's not much to find. "I started using this account in 2021 and before then it was used by a couple of bloggers -so goodluck reading the articles."  However, a follower brought up an old tweet with Eric's picture shared from the account in 2020 to show that the content creator had been using the account since before 2021 and the username @TheRightJokes was the account name at the time, which also happens to be the username that shared the offensive tweet. The post Content Creator Eric Gugua responds after old tweet shared from his account promoting r@pe resurfaced appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
