Commotion as first son allegedly refuses to allow his family bury their mother in the family compound unless they settle him (video)

Their was chaos at a burial ceremony in Aku, Imo State, when the first son of the deceased allegedly refused to allow the burial take place unless he is given some form of settlement. According to a retired police officer who spoke at the family's compound, the father of the family named Godwin Nwawere and his wife produced a son named Uzoma Nwawere and multiple daughters who are married. He said that the married daughters are doing well and cared for their mother while neglecting their brother and failing to accord him respect as a first son. He added that all the daughters, who are married to men from Mbano in Imo State, "connived" with their mother to disrespect the first son. The retired police said in Igbo: "Godwin Nwawere, who is the husband of the deceased, has passed on.
