A bus veered off a mountain road in Japan on Friday, killing 14 and injuring 27, media reported.

The bus was taking 41 people to a ski resort in the central Nagano prefecture, the BBC news outlet reported.

The cause of the crash has not yet been determined, according to the media. The Japanese Transport Ministry has launched a probe into the accident.
