Vampire stories are experiencing a comeback. Sinners, the latest attempt to refresh the genre, has stormed the box office, earning $339 million worldwide and a re-release in IMAX 70mm theatres.
Ryan Coogler’s film tells a story of twin brothers, Smoke and Stack (Michael B. Jordan playing both roles), who return to their hometown in the Mississippi Delta. After years of working for Al Capone, they leave their crime past behind them and decide to open a juke joint for the local Black community. As it turns out, they have to handle not only the racist laws and the Ku Klux Klan but also bloodthirsty vampires.
With action scenes and an impressive soundtrack of blues, folk and themes composed by Ludwig Göransson, Sinners is best viewed in the cinema. However, if you’re already in the mood for rewatching, here’s when the film may drop on home media.

When will Sinners be released on DVD/Blu-ray?
In the US, physical copies of Ryan Coogler’s smash hit will arrive on Tuesday, 8 July 2025. For now, there’s no information on the UK release date.
4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD copies will contain the special features mentioned above.
When will Sinners be released on streaming services?
As this is a Warner movie, it will debut exclusively on Max in the US. However, there’s no official information on when it may happen. Release times for the previous studio films vary. Dune: Part Two hit Max as fast as 7 days after its release on DVD and Blu-ray, while Barbie took 59 days.
However, Barbie made nearly double the amount of profit as Sinners in it’s first week, so it seems unlikely that Warner will wait that long to bring Sinners to streaming. We believe Coogler’s film may appear on Max around Tuesday, 15 July 2025. Note that this date is just a prediction and it may slip.
UK-based viewers can catch it on Sky Cinema and Now. However, there’s no information on when it will happen.
