The Last of Us has returned for season 2 – here’s when the next episode will drop

One of HBO’s biggest shows, The Last of Us, is officially back. After a wild first season, we’ve all been wondering what’s next for Ellie, Joel, and their friends trying to survive in a world overrun by zombie-like creatures.

The series’ second season, based on the game The Last of Us Part II, takes viewers deeper into the horrors of post-apocalyptic reality. It also introduces several new characters. In the trailers promoting the show, you can spot Jeffrey Wright’s Isaac, Kaitlyn Dever’s Abby and Isabela Merced’s Dina. Of course, there are some appearances from the horrific infected as well.
