The Police Command in Akwa Ibom State has arrested three suspects for different cases of defiling minors.

One of them, a 55-year-old man, allegedly raped his step-daughter.

Police Relations Officer, CSP Nnudam Fredrick, made this known in a statement on Tuesday.

He noted that the man forcefully slept with the 15 years old teenager.

Police said the indigene of Odot 1 village in Nsit Atai LGA, chased the victim out of the house when he discovered that she was pregnant.

The statement added that a corps member on primary assignment in Uyo was gang-raped by two persons, Ofonime Essien and Frank Okon, when she went to charge her phone in their house.
