Actor Deyemi Okanlawon has shared his views on how many men process emotional challenges, revealing that his wife is not the first person he turns to when life gets difficult. Speaking on the CreativiTea Podcast,  Deyemi said men are naturally wired to carry burdens and protect the people around them. I'm a man. If you punch a man, he has the ability to absorb it, he said. According to the actor, he sees it as his responsibility to shield those around him whenever problems arise. However, he stressed that men still need healthy outlets to process their emotions. For me, I have my therapist and mentors on speed dial. Whenever I'm going through things, my wife is not the first person I call, he explained. Deyemi said he only involves his wife when the situation becomes overwhelming, noting that she also has her own challenges to deal with. When things get really hard, that's when I turn to my wife, he added.  The post My wife is not the first person I call when I'm going through things  Actor, Deyemi Okanlawon opens up on how men handle emotional struggles appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
