A Nigerian woman, Kate Bassey, who is battling cancer, has said that fashion and beauty is her love language so she would want everyone to show up well dressed for her Service of Songs and funeral. She stated this in a Facebook post on Thursday while reacting to mourning police who criticised guests over their 'fashionable' appearance at late actor Alex Ekubo's Service of Songs. Weighing into the debate, Kate said that people appearing wretched wont raise the dead from the casket. She emphasized that her ceremony should reflect her love for fashion and beauty. When I d!e, I would definitely want everyone at my service of songs/ funeral to dress show up well dressed, she wrote. "It doesnt mean you are not mourning me or love me. Fashion and beauty is my love language and d3ath should not change that. "Even if you appear wretched with tired, swollen eyes. It wont raise me from the casket (except a miracle happens). "So yeah, preferably. Come correct! Dress well and give me your last respect looking the way you would love to look when hugging me one last time. "If you dont feel up to it, I guess its ok too. I just dont appreciate the dragging that comes from mourning police whenever a person d!es. Express grief however you deem necessary.
