LPG Regional Technician at Matrix Energy Group

Matrix Energy Group is a rapidly growing indigenous and integrated Oil Marketing and Trading Company in Nigeria, with business interest that covers shipping, commodities trading, depot operations, fertilizer blending, and trading, exploration, and haulage services. 

The LPG Regional Technician is responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant technical operations of LPG facilities within the northern region. The role ensures optimal plant uptime, equipment integrity, adherence to safety standards, and timely resolution of technical faults across LPG storage, dispensing, and safety systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 


Oversee daily LPG plant operations to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted performance of equipment and systems.
Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on LPG infrastructure, including pumps, compressors, dispensers, and storage tanks.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation faults promptly to reduce downtime and service disruption.
Enforce strict adherence to HSE policies, LPG safety standards, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
Conduct routine safety inspections and proactively identify and mitigate operational risks and hazards.
Maintain accurate technical documentation, including maintenance logs, equipment performance records, and incident reports.
Prepare and submit timely reports on plant performance, downtime analysis, and maintenance activities.
Support installation, commissioning, and decommissioning of LPG equipment and related infrastructure.
Manage spare parts and consumables inventory to ensure continuous and efficient plant operations.
Provide technical support and on-the-job guidance to station personnel while coordinating issue resolution with relevant stakeholders.
