Court voids Edo traditional ruler’s removal, says governor abused office

Delivering judgement on 26 March, Justice O.A. Otamere ruled that the state government’s decision to depose the traditional ruler without affording him an opportunity to respond to allegations amounted to an abuse of office and was “null and void.”
