About the job


Provide legal advice and support to various departments within the organization on a wide range of legal issues.
Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to safeguard the company's interests.
Ensure all contracts comply with legal requirements and internal policies.
Identify potential legal risks and provide proactive solutions to mitigate these risks.
Develop and maintain a risk management framework to ensure the company’s operations are legally sound.
Monitor and keep proper records of governing developments in the organization and provide proper feed back to management.
Support the company’s corporate governance framework, ensuring all board and committee meetings are effectively managed and documented.
Assist in the preparation and review of board materials and resolutions.


Requirements


Bachelor’s degree in Law, LLM is desirable but not mandatory
At least 4 years experience practicing corporate law
Excellent interpersonal skills, smart and goal driven
Excellent communication skills (writing, editing and speaking); detail orientation; strong work ethic; and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
Exceptional organizational and logistical skills
Excellent analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative)
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Command of Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and to work as part of a team.
