Chelsea Continue Club World Cup Journey

Chelsea advanced into the knockout stage of the FIFA Club World Cup after beating ES Tunis 3-0 in their last group game. The Blues needed a win to go through to the next round, and Enzo Maresca’s men, including their new signing, Liam Delap, delivered.

Chelsea’s FIFA CWC Journey Continues

Enzo Maresca’s men managed to advance into the next round of the FIFA CWC after ending their group stage with a convincing victory. Facing ES Tunis in a do-or-die game, Chelsea put on a solid performance straight from kick-off.

Despite the Tunisian-based outfit’s strong resistance, Chelsea finally got the breakthrough before half-time, with goals from Tosin Adarabioyo and Delap. Having a two-goal lead gave the Blues a comfortable feel as they navigated the second period in such a professional manner.

Maresca’s men eventually completed their victory with a third goal, scored by Tyrique George in stoppage time. That victory ensured Chelsea a spot in the knockout round, where they will be meeting Portuguese outfit Benfica.

Accompanying The Blues from their group is Flamengo, who beat the London outfit 3-1 in their previous matchup.
