Murd3red wedding travellers buried in Plateau

The remains of the victims who were attacked and killed by a mob while travelling to a wedding in the Mangun community of Mangu Local Government Area, Plateau State, have been laid to rest. The victims, comprising men, women, and children, were residents of the Basawa-Anguwan Rimi community in the Zaria Local Government Area of Kaduna State. They were en route to the Quaan Pan Local Government Area for a wedding ceremony when their vehicle was attacked by assailants. Tragically, the attackers killed several passengers and burned some of the victims' bodies. Fortunately, some of the commuters survived the attack and are currently receiving treatment in a hospital. The deceased were buried at Hayi Muslim Cemetery under tight security.
