NSCDC intercepts armed man at church in Plateau

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Plateau State Command, has intercepted a man allegedly in possession of a firearm at a church premises in Bokkos Local Government Area.  Sources told security analyst, Zagazola Makama that the incident occurred at about 8:30 a.m on Sunday, April 20, 2025, when operatives of the NSCDC, acting on intelligence, apprehended the suspect during a routine security patrol around a church compound.  "The suspect was found in possession of a gun and could not provide any satisfactory explanation or legal documentation for it. The swift action of our operatives helped prevent what could have escalated into a serious security breach, the source said.  The identity of the suspect has not yet been disclosed, pending the conclusion of preliminary investigations.  The post NSCDC intercepts armed man at church in Plateau appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
