Actor Paul Rodriguez drug possession case rejected due to insufficient evidence

Paul Rodriguez will not face any legal consequences following his recent arrest for drug possession, as the city where he was detained has decided not to proceed with the case. According to the Burbank City Attorney, the case was dismissed due to insufficient evidence. Rodriguez was arrested in late March after police allegedly found narcotics during a traffic stop. However, Rodriguez insisted the drugs were not his. He explained that he was asleep in the passenger seat of the car when officers woke him up. His friend, who was driving, admitted that the drugs belonged to her, but Rodriguez claims he was still roughly arrested. In response to Rodriguez's allegations of misconduct, police argued that he did not mention any mistreatment during his conversation with the watch commander before being released. Rodriguezs attorney, Bobby Samini, expressed appreciation for the decision to drop the case, stating that Rodriguez was innocent and never possessed any controlled substances. Samini also praised Rodriguez's supporters for their encouragement during the ordeal. The post Actor Paul Rodriguez drug possession case rejected due to insufficient evidence appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
