I was in Lekki yesterday and I saw that someone can still eat for 2500 Naira there?  ??   Tinubu??s Aide, Fasua says days after comment on value of $1 to struggling Nigerians

Nigerias President, Bola Tinubus Special Adviser on Economic Affairs, Tope Fasua, has stated that Lekki residents can still eat well with 2500.  This comes after his comment over the weekend that Nigerians will eat well with $1, while Americans can't have a good meal with ten dollars. Fasua acknowledged the current rise in hunger across the country, noting that poverty in Nigeria is not a new phenomenon but one inherited from previous generations. Speaking on Arise TVs Morning Show, Fasua said that even in Upscale Lekki, affordable meals are available for as Low as N2,500. I was in Lekki yesterday (BlackBell precisely) and I saw that someone can still eat for 2500 Naira there. While hunger exists in Nigeria, it doesn't define our national identity, and its prevalence is often exaggerated in the media. For many Nigerians, N1,500 is a significant amount. Watch the video below     View this post on Instagram           A post shared by Lindaikejiblog (@lindaikejiblogofficial) The post I was in Lekki yesterday and I saw that someone can still eat for 2500 Naira there     Tinubus Aide, Fasua says days after comment on value of $1 to struggling Nigerians appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
