Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Lille wonderkid Leny Yoro as a replacement for Thiago Silva this summer.


Silva has been a key player for the Blues over the past four years, but he has shown signs of regression in the current campaign.

The Brazilian is expected to leave for free when his contract expires in June and the hierarchy are on the hunt for a replacement.

Scouts from the club have been monitoring Yoro in recent months and they are prepared to step up their pursuit in the coming weeks.

At just 18, the Frenchman has been a mainstay in the starting XI of Lille. He has been compared with compatriot Raphael Varane.

Yoro's strong distribution has made him a huge hit. He is also on the radar of Real Madrid, Liverpool and Manchester United.

Lille are prepared to sell him this summer as his contract expires in June next year. He could be available for around €60 million.
