Today is World Malaria Day.

In #Afghanistan, there were 125,788 malaria cases reported in 2022 -- 45% increase compared to 2021. About 90% of cases are from 4 eastern provinces: Nangarhar, Laghman, Kunar & Nuristan.

Time to deliver zero malaria: invest, innovate, implement.
