“You carry N1 million to the market, it will buy you nothing” — Celebrity Designer Toyin Lawani laments rising food prices in Nigeria

Fashion entrepreneur Toyin Lawani has expressed concern over the rising cost of food items in Nigeria.In a video shared online, she questioned how many Nigerians are coping with the current prices of basic food items, describing the situation as difficult for many families.According to her, a small basket of Irish potatoes now costs about N30,000, while four pieces of plantain sell for around N2,500.How are people eating? How are people fending?
