French Teacher at an Internationally Accredited School - French Teacher

An internationally accredited school  in Ibadan is seeking a passionate and experienced French Teacher to deliver engaging language instruction and foster students' proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing French.

Key Responsibilities


Plan and deliver effective French language lessons that develop students' communication skills.
Teach French language and culture using engaging, relevant, and age-appropriate instructional strategies.
Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and support student success.
Design and implement assessments, monitor student progress, and provide timely feedback.
Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, participation, and academic excellence.
Support struggling learners while providing enrichment opportunities for advanced students.
Maintain effective classroom management and high behavioral expectations.
Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to academic and extracurricular initiatives.
Maintain accurate records, meet professional deadlines, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.


Requirements


Bachelor's degree in French, Education, or a related field (Master's degree is an advantage).
Teaching certification or licensure in French language instruction.
Native or near-native proficiency in French, with strong spoken and written English skills.
Minimum of two (2) years of teaching experience.
Strong written and spoken proficiency in both French and English.
Demonstrated ability to teach French language and culture effectively.
Excellent classroom management, lesson planning, and student engagement skills.
